Shalom! You're met at Ben Gurion Airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 3 - JAFFA EXCURSION

See all the highlights of Tel Aviv, the Habimah National Theatre, Rabin Square and Carmel market, before continuing to the ancient port of Jaffa. Now visit Mini Israel- a miniature park featuring 330 replica models. Tonight enjoy a Shabbat dinner at your hotel. (BB,HD)

Day 4 - TEL AVIV- GALILEE

Drive along the coastal road to the Roman and Crusader ruins at Caesarea. Then on via Haifa to Acre to see the fortress, old harbour area and a Crusader crypt. Continue to Nazareth where you visit the Church of Annunciation. The day concludes with a visit to a Kibbutz for a brief introduction to this communal way of life.

Day 5 - GALILEE- DEAD SEA

Visit the 2000 year old wooden boat before taking a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum and the Mount of Beatitudes. Follow the River Jordan to the Dead Sea for a dip in the buoyant waters.

Day 6 - DEAD SEA- JERUSALEM

Ride by cable-car up to the fortress of Masada. Drive through the Judaean Hills to Mount Scopus for views over Jerusalem. Then visit King David's Tomb, the Room of the Last Supper and the Western Wall.

Day 7 - JERUSALEM

Tour the moving Holocaust museum Yad- Vashem. Continue to the Shrine of the Book, containing the Dead See Scrolls. Tonight enjoy an oriental dinner at a local restaurant. (BB,HD)

Day 8 - JERUSALEM

Visit the Garden of Gethsemene then walk through the Old City to see the Temple Mount. Continue along the Via Dolorosa to see the Stations of the Cross, Ecce Homo Arch, Pool of Bethesda and Church of the Holy Sepulchre built on the site of the Crucifixion. (BB)

Day 9 - JERUSALEM- CAIRO

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your flight to Cairo where you are met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 10 - CAIRO

Meet your Egyptian Tour Director and visit the Citadel for a breathtaking view of the city of Cairo and visit the great Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Later, visit the Egyptian Museum to see Tutankhamun's treasure. This evening, drive to Giza for a magical Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids. (BB)

Day 11 - CAIRO- LUXOR- JOIN CRUISE

Fly to Luxor, the former capital of the New Kingdom, where your cruise boat awaits. Board in time for lunch and then visit Luxor Temple- an unforgettable introduction to ancient Thebes. Incredibly, just up the road stands Karnak, the largest temple complex ever built by man.

Day 12 - ON BOARD SHIP

After breakfast, cross to the west bank of the Nile and stop for a photo of the towering Colossi of Memnon. Then visit the amazing reconstructed Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, blending into the cliff face above. Continue to the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of many of the New Kingdom Pharaohs. After venturing inside some of the tombs return to your cruise ship and drift upstream to Esna and Edfu. (BB,L,D)

Day 13 - ON BOARD SHIP

After a morning visit to the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus, cruise on to Kom Ombo. The temple, dedicated to both Horus the Elder and the crocodile god, Sobek, is a glorious sight from the river. Inside you will find mummified remains of some small crocodiles. Celebrate in true Egyptian style at an Oriental Dinner and Galabea Party. (BB,L,HD)

Day 14 - ON BOARD SHIP

Cruise to exotic Aswan in the cool of early morning. Visit the Aswan High Dam and also the ancient Granite Quarries to see the enormous unfinished obelisk. Take a motorboat to the Temple of Isis, rising from the waters of the Nile on the Island of Philae. Later, return to Aswan and sail in a traditional Nile felucca around Aswan's Botanical Gardens. Day 15 - ASWAN- CAIRO

Optional excursion to Abu Simbel, before transferring to the airport for your return flight to Cairo.

Day 16 - CAIRO SIGHTSEEING

Drive to Memphis to see the giant statue of Rameses II and alabaster sphinx. Nearby at Sakkara, view the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the oldest in the world. Now enjoy a tour of Giza that shows you the inscrutable Sphinx and takes you inside one of the great Pyramids! (BB)

Day 17 - CAIRO- AMMAN

Transfer to the airport and fly to Amman, where you meet your Jordanian Tour Director.

Day 18 - AMMAN- PETRA

The trip to Jerash reveals the most beautifully preserved example of a Greco-Roman city in existence. Travel on to Mt Nebo, followed by Madaba to see the mosaic map in St George's Church. Continue to your hotel in Petra.

Drive along the King's Highway to visit the authentic 12th century crusader fortress- Shobak. Back in Amman see the Citadel Hill and Roman Amphitheatre.
